Tea Storage FAQ
Can you store tea for me?
Yes, our state-of-the-art, secure warehouse storage has stict controlled environment; the temperatures are regulated to optimum for the teas; and movement of stock is kept to a minimum. Before entering the warehouses, the teas and their original packaging are assessed, checked and gently acclimatised to ensure we can guarantee the perfect condition of everything we store. What happens if my tea is lost or damaged while under storage?
In the event of lost or damage with respect to the teas kept under Tea X warehouse storage, we shall replace the loss or damaged teas free of charge, subject to the availability of the said teas; if we have no availability of the said teas, we shall issue Account Credit, equivalent to the amount paid by you, into your account on the website for future purchases.
What happens when I withdraw my tea from storage?
When teas are withdrawn, a shipping fee will be charged depending on the packaging weight, packaging size and delivery location. We require five (5) working days prior online request to process your withdrawal. Please note that all outstanding balance must to be paid before request of withdrawal is approved.
Can I transfer tea to you from antoher storage company?
No. Our warehouse storage service is only offered specifically for our own Customers who purchased teas from us.
Is there a minimum charge for storing tea with us?
Yes. We offer the warehouse storage service for an annual rate of 1.88% of the current selling price for each tea you purchased from Tea X.
Can I top up warehouse storage for my tea stored with Tea X?
Yes. You can topup warehouse storage anytime for your tea stored with Tea X. It is either during first purchase, or after you have purchased, just click “Top Up Storage” in My Inventory.
How do I know if my tea is expiring from warehouse storage service?
When your tea is 30 days and 7 days prior warehouse storage service expiry, you will receive our emails notifying on the expiry soon. You may choose to continue enjoy our secured warehouse storage by Top Up Storage; or Withdraw and Ship your tea from our warehouse storage.
What happens if my tea is already expired from warehouse storage service?
When your tea is expired from warehouse storage service without confirmed action of Top Up Storage or Withdraw and Ship, Tea X will surcharge an annual rate of 1.88% of the current selling price for each tea you stored in Tea X. We will email an unpaid invoice to you, and you may check the status online in My Order History.
For future requirment of Request to Sell or Withdraw and Ship, you must have made full payment for your outstanding balance for the requirement to be processed.
How long can I keep my tea in Tea X?
Minimum 1 year, maximum 5 years per each time top up storage. You can store your tea in Tea X warehouse storage for more than 5 years by top up storage more than 1 time.
