Ms. Camellia Siow is a senior tea art master from Malaysia. She is currently the tea art director of Purple Cane Group.

Siow graduated from the Department of Journalism, National Chengchi University, Taiwan, and has experience as an editor for newspapers and magazines. She joined Purple Cane Group in 1987 and has been engaged in tea art research ever since. She travels around the world regularly to visit tea-producing countries and to attend international tea culture festivals, expos, and conferences as Malaysian representative. She also contributes tea art related reports and articles to seminars. Siow is one of the editors of A PASSAGE TO CHINESE TEA, the first (English & Chinese) bilingual tea book published in Malaysia.

Equipped with long-lasting passion, extraordinary sensibility, knowledge in the area, and ambition to promote tea culture, she is ever ready to share her know-how and interesting experiences with fellow tea connoisseurs.

Mr. Chen Gee Yong worked part-time at Purple Cane Tea House when he was in college, and officially joined the Purple Cane Group in 1992 to become a tea instructor at the first Purple Cane tea art centre. He has been a tea art lecturer and specialized instructor at the Purple Cane Tea Art Learning Centre since 2000.

Chen has visited places including Yunnan, Wuyi, Hangzhou, and Yixing to study tea cultivation and production and the making of teapots. He has served as a speaker for dozens of tea art lectures.

Mr. Chong Kam Chuan joined Purple Cane Group in 2002 as a tea instructor. In 2004, he became the supervisor of Purple Cane Kepong Outlet. In 2006, he was appointed as an area manager to lead fellow coworkers with his rich experience in the sales and marketing of tea products.

He has visited places including Zhangzhou, Anhui, Yunnan and Hangzhou to study tea cultivation and production. Chong has also served as the master tea brewer at countless tea ceremonies.

Ms. Wong Sook Yee joined Purple Cane Group in 1994 and has worked in the Design Department and Customer Service Department. She has been a tea art lecturer and specialized instructor at the Purple Cane Tea Art Learning Centre since 2004 and is currently the person in charge.

In 2010, Wong attended the “Tea Art Certification Study Tour” organized by Fujian Tenfu Tea College in China.

Wong has served as the planner, host, and master tea brewer at hundreds of tea ceremonies and tea parties.

Ms. Tham Kwee Fong has been in the tea industry since 1997. She has been sent by Ten Ren’s Tea to Taiwan Lu Yu Tea Art Center for tea art training.

She joined Purple Cane Group in 1998 as an outlet supervisor and tea instructor. In 2010, she was appointed as an area manager.

She has visited Hangzhou to study tea cultivation and production. Tham has also served as the master tea brewer at countless tea ceremonies.

Ms. Loo Hooi Koon joined Purple Cane Group in 2004. She has been a tea art lecturer and specialized instructor at the Purple Cane Tea Art Learning Centre since 2006. She is currently in charge of the Purple Cane E-Shop.

In 2010, Loo attended the “Tea Art Certification Study Tour” organized by Fujian Tenfu Tea College in China.

Loo has served as the planner, host, and master tea brewer at hundreds of tea ceremonies and tea parties.

Ms. Ong Kim Yann joined Purple Cane Group in 2004 as a tea instructor and has been on duty at several Purple Cane retail outlets. In 2008, she was appointed as an area manager. Ong is currently the store manager of Purple Cane HQ (Shaw Parade Outlet).

She has won the trust of customers and fellow tea lovers with her great passion for tea and remarkable sensibility. Ong has visited Hangzhou to study tea cultivation and production. She has also served as the master tea brewer at countless tea ceremonies.

Ms. Liew Lai Fun joined Purple Cane Group in 2001 as a tea instructor and became an outlet supervisor in 2006. She is currently the supervisor of Purple Cane One Utama Outlet.

With much experience and knowledge in the Puer tea market, many tea lovers look to her for advice and recommendations.

Ms. Chong Pik Keen joined Purple Cane Group in 2009 as a tea instructor and the supervisor of Purple Cane Ipoh Klebang Outlet.

Ms. Choo Joon Pin joined Purple Cane Group in 1998 and has worked at the Purple Cane Tea Restaurant (KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall). In 2003, she was appointed as the store manager of Purple Cane HQ (Shaw Parade outlet). She is currently the supervisor of Purple Cane Jusco Melaka. She has great experience in sales, especially of Puer tea.

Ms. Suan Teek Suang joined Purple Cane Group in 2007 as a tea instructor. In 2008, she became the supervisor of Purple Cane Johor Bahru Outlet. With great passion for tea and a cheerful personality, she is trusted and much supported by our Southern Malaysian and Singaporean customers.

Mr. Toh Kok Mun joined Purple Cane Group in 2009 as a tea instructor and the supervisor of Purple Cane Penang Outlet.

Ms. Nichole Chong Pik Yin joined Purple Cane Group in 1999. She has held positions including outlet supervisor, store manager, and retail sales manager at Purple Cane. Having devoted 20 years to the industry, she has considerable knowledge of tea art and is an experienced tea collector herself.

Ms. Chin Soo Keon joined Purple Cane Group in 2009. She is currently a tea instructor and the supervisor of Purple Cane Jusco Cheras Outlet.

Ms. Yap Chin Ho joined Purple Cane Group in 2010. She is currently a tea instructor and the supervisor of Purple Cane Aeon Metroprima Kepong Outlet.
